East of Faro you will see the coast which is different, with long beaches, dunes and river deltas. Here is also the protected nature area Parque natural da Ria Formoso. In the hilly hinterland, with almond-, pine- , eucalyptus-, orange- and olive trees, you can also make further various excursions, to picturesque towns or colourful markets.
