This holiday home is situated on a beautiful and calm estate in the Eastern part of the Douro region in North Portugal, the Douro Superior. It is part of a large Quinta dating back to 1820, and now divided in a main building where the owners live, and 5 holiday homes around a beautiful garden and a communal swimming pool with separate paddling pool. This holiday home is linked to Casa do Coural and Casa do Alembique and used to be the house of the caretaker (caseiro). From the estate you will have a lovely view over the surroundings. There is a chapel on the estate where marriages regularly take place, an idyllic location to tie the knot! The Quinta is 26 acres, with 10 acres vineyards and 2 acres olive gardens. The current owner has renovated the buildings from 2003 and 2004 with beauty and style. The Adega is renovated in style, but also modernised, which means that quality wines and port are again produced here.
