Casa Rebela cottage is situated less then 1km. from the ?Lagoa de Albufeira? lagoon, about 30 km to the south of Lisbon. The whole of the first floor is rented out but the ground floor is not occupied and is used as a storage room and garage. Access to the first floor is via an outside staircase which also leads to the garden and barbecue. From the bedroom you can access the balcony which overlooks the nearby forest. If the surf of the Atlantic Ocean is too strong, you can go to the lagoon where you can swim in peace. The location of the cottage is perfectly suited for families with children who can play in the shallow lagoon in complete safety. The ?Lagoa de Albufeira? is well-known for its culinary specialities based on fish which you can try at very reasonable prices in the restaurants along the beach. The ingredients are ?kept? in the lagoon and it is impossible to find fresher! WARNING: Since the Portuguese take their holidays in August, there is a lot of traffic on the roads to the beaches!
