Description
The klipper Nieuwe Maen was built in Leiden in 1891 as a corn ship. Later the ship was often used for the transport of wood. In the eighties the ship was converted to a charter ship. It is now a very comfortable ship and was completely transformed in 2005 with new comfort and safety standards. The ship is ankered during the holiday in the pleasant port of Zierikzee. It is the ideal starting point to discover the many aspects of beautiful Zeeland. On board you will find enough games to entertain you in the evenings. After a day of sightseeing in Zierikzee have a little snooze on the upper deck... what more do you need ! For extra payment (and if the weather and the season permit) you can sail... Please contact the captain directly ! Enjoy this special holiday on board of the Nieuwe Maen.
