The Villa Comunale is also well worth a visit with its wonderful views over the Gulf, as well as the San Antonino Basilica dedicated to Sorrento?s patron saint, the San Francesco cloisters built in 1300s that today play host to concerts and art exhibitions, the Sedil Dominova commissioned by noble Sorrento dwellers and the Cathedral built in the 1700s. Pompeii, Positano, Punta Campanella, Capri, Amalfi and Ravello are 10-15 km away while Naples and Herculanum are 40 km away. The residence boasts a free covered private car park, accessed via a lane just 185 cm wide. Those wishing to use the car park are advised to arrive in a small to medium sized vehicle. Another option is to leave vehicles on the road just 20 metres away. From the car park the apartments can be accessed by descending 15 steps in the delightful garden area.
