This beautiful villa lies in the beautiful Istrian countryside. It is in a former farmhouse dating from 1920. The villa is in the hamlet of Sanjini which is affiliated to the town of Barban. The villa was renovated by the owner in 2004 and is divided into two holiday homes. The holiday homes are connected by a wall which is also the entrance to the courtyard. When you drive through the gate, Villa Mega I (HR-52207-01) is on the left and Villa Mega II (HR-52207-02) is on the right. Villa Mega II is in the former cattle stalls. As the villa has been totally renovated to such a high standard, this curious fact is not apparant. There is a raised terrace next to Villa Mega I with stone benches around an old well. The guests of Villa Mega II reach the garden and swimming pool by walking past the well. There is a large covered terrace next to Villa Mega II. This is also the entrance to a shared utility room with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The town of Barban is well known for the centuries old Istrian horse race ‘Trka na prstenac‘ (Tilting at the ring). This event is held yearly during the second last weekend in August. It attracts many visitors. You can enjoy the fabulous scenery of the surrounding area and sample the superb Istrian wines. The sea is 5 km away.
