Only half a mile distant lies the ancient village of Goudhurst with its pond, small shops, tea-rooms, pubs and restaurants. Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone are approximately 12 miles away and Ashford, now with a new designer shopping centre and the Eurotunnel terminal is 20 miles away. Main line station at Marden is only 4 miles distant for trains to London. Blackthorn Barn is accessed by a private drive with ample parking beside the property.
