Description

Chemin du Coeur is a recently renovated barn at the end of a small path, near Conques in the Aveyron in France. Conques belongs to one of the prettiest villages in France, "un des plus beaux villages", where concerts are given on summer evenings in the splendid Romanesque abbey church. The house has panoramic views over rolling hills and valleys, full of chestnut trees. The area is still quite authentic and not very spoilt by tourism. You can make short and long walks here, on paths where you hardly meet anyone, but you could also walk to Conques on the pilgrim's path (90 minutes). Conques is one of the main stops on the way from Le Puy to Santiago de Compostela.
