Description

Fifty or so kilometres from Carcassonne and in the heart of Cathar country, the house is in a small medieval village typical of Corbières. The abbey of Lagrasse, which is close to the property, is in a sheltered nook formed in the landscape?s wild valleys. Several footpaths leave from the village, including one by the house, as well as a cycle track. The private swimming pool and large patio with a shower and WC provide a pleasant haven of peace. To visit: Narbonne la Romaine (35 km), vine museum (22 km), fortified city of Carcassonne (50 km), the nearby Cathar castles, Port la Nouvelle beach (43 km away).
