Description
In a picturesque village in the Auvergne, where time seems to have stood still, lies the Jaligny-Fontaine holiday home. The Jaligny-Fontaine house dates from the eleventh century and has undergone many alterations over the centuries. It was probably part of a monastery or a curie, and then part of the house next door. There are indications that the house was once a bakery: the landing is situated in what used to be an oven or fireplace. There is an original wine cellar next to the house, with a separate entrance. In the wine cellar you can see the storage area where they used to keep cheese and ham. There are several bicycles here and two inflatable boats that can be used by guests.
