The ?El Lugar" rural home is a town house that has undergone total reconstruction work while maintaining all the flavour of bygone times. The house?s decorations will transport guests back in time, a mixture of good taste, simplicity and above all- comfort. The house is located in the centre of Teresa de Cofrentes old quarter- a delightful village with all the necessary services to make for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. The surrounding area, crossed by the Júcar and Cabriel Rivers, is breathtakingly beautiful, with many sources and springs and wonderful areas in which to spend leisure time such as the Hunde Natural Reserve. History also has an important place here, with the largest and best conserved Iberian settlement in Spain. The district of Teresa de Cofrentes is also home to the highest peak in Valencia province, ?Caroche?. Just a few kilometres away there is also a spa, which apart from its facilities also features a 9 hole golf course. The XVII century church of Our Lady of the Assumption is also well worth a visit as is the Palaz castle and Casa Máximo, an imposing architectural feat located in the Caroche mountains. The following activities may also be practiced: walking, guided tours, river trails (along the Júcar River), canoeing, adventure trails, cookery lessons, hunting, fishing and golf.
