Description

This charming rural home is located in a quiet, traditional Spanish town, in an area known as "Land of the Fields". The dwelling is a former grain store where harvested cereals were kept. The original structure of the property dates back to the XIX century and has remained intact throughout restoration works. Wooden floors, the original staircase and other small details have also been safeguarded. Great attention has been paid to the decoration and the house features all modern day comforts. A car is vital for visiting the local area which offers many walking paths as well as several private hunting and fishing grounds. Nature lovers should not miss out on the Fuentes Carrionas and Fuente Cobre Nature Reserve. The surrounding area is also home to two Roman cities - Olmedo and La Tejada. Visitors may wish to follow the Romanesque Palencia trail (Palencia is the province with the most Romanesque monuments in Spain), or join the Camino de Santiago from Carrión de los Condes. Don?t miss out on a trip to Palencia town, also lovingly referred to as "La Bella Desconocida" (46 km away).
