Description
Sønderho is a small and well-preserved fishing village on the Danish island Fanø.
Fanø has one of Denmark's best beaches which is 18 km long and surround the whole village. Walks, swimming, surfing and kite flying are very popular activities here.
The nature here is unspoiled and the island has a rich wildlife and an abundance of birds. More rare bird species can be seen here and the growing seal population can be observed on the sand banks at the coast.
It's very nice to visit the city Esbjerg on the mainland of Jutland. Here you find many restaurants, galleries and museums. The journey to Esbjerg by boot takes at about 10 minutes.
