Description

Skåstrup is a quiet and cosy family area on northern Funen. The village has its original street system and the many old properties. It is possible to buy groceries in the area. A larger selection of shops and restaurants can be found in Bogense (8 km). With its marked town atmosphere, old squares, winding roads, fine merchant's houses and many half-timbers houses, the picturesque harbour and the largest marina in Funen, Bogense is definitely worth a visit. From Bogense you can also go on a day trip to the islands Endelave, Tunø and Samsø. The beach of Skåstrup is very suitable for children as the water is shallow. The waters outside Skåstrup offer good conditions for windsurfers.
