This holidayhouse is situated in Buresø. The forests 'Uggeløse Skov', 'Ganløse Eged' and 'Slagskunde Skov' as well as the ridge 'Slangerup Ås', surround Buresø. Enjoy your holiday here with all of your senses, as the area offers a tempting nature, numerous leisure activities, cultural sights and of course the capital Copenhagen, which lies only 35 km from Buresø. It is possible to buy groceries within a radius of 2 km, and in the vivid town of Slangerup (4 km) you will find a number of shops. The nearest larger town is Frederikssund, the domicile of the Vikings, which offers a pedestrian street, shops and good restaurants (12 km). You will find a very popular lake with clear water right by Buresø. By the lake you will also find a sandy beach. It is also possible to swim in the inlet 'Roskilde Fjord'. Buresø is situated in the nature park between Farum and Slangerup. Forests, lakes, wetlands, fields and untouched areas characterize the area. Enjoy the wide view of the landscape with the old villages and the many lakes. The lake Buresø is one of the largest lakes in the area. The distance to Denmark's largest lake 'Arresø' is only 22 km. Here you will find good opportunities for a walk or a bicycle ride around the lake. The path, surrounding the lake, is 50 km long. The hilly area 'Tibirke Bakker' (39 km) is a lovely and preserved nature area with heathery hills. From a viewpoint in the area you can enjoy the great view of the lake 'Arresø', the forest 'Gribskov' and a bite of the inlet 'Roskilde Fjord'. The electricity meter is mostly placed outside the house. In recently built houses the electricity meter may be fitted with a grey metal flap. To read the meter lift the flap a little bit and open. Please note that in Denmark almost all electricity meters have no point - so all figures are whole kilowatt hours.
