Description

Rågeleje is an old and popular holiday resort in scenic surroundings on the northern coast of Sealand. There is a lovely esplanade where you can walk or visit some shops. It is possible to buy groceries and dine in the area. The nearest larger towns are Helsinge (10 km) and Gilleleje (11 km). The beach of Rågeleje is a long and lovely bathing beach with fine sand and a few rocks. Anglers will find good opportunities along the shores of North Sealand. This area is also good for walking en cycling. In the environment of Rågeleje you will find 4 golf courses, 'Helsinge Golfklub' is a 18 holes golf course which is situated at about 10 km from Rägeleje. For children it is very nice to visit the amusement park 'Nordsjællands Sommerpark' in Græsted . This park offers a jungle path and a water world (5 km). Among other things it offers Go on a tour on the farm 'Smidstrup-Farmen' - a farm with all domestic farm animals.
