Right by a long and lovely North Sealand bathing beach and large, preserved nature areas you will find the old, charming fishing hamlet Rågeleje. A lovely esplanade with an ice cream stall, a café and a restaurant stretches along the water. It is possible to buy groceries and dine in the area. The nearest larger towns are Helsinge (10 km) and Gilleleje (11 km). Don't miss the magnificent sunsets from i.a. the beach or the preserved hills 'Heatherhill'. Here you will find peace, quiet, fields, beach and fresh air. Anglers will find good opportunities along the shores of North Sealand. North Sealand is rich in golf courses, and the courses of 'Helsinge Golfklub' with 18 holes (10 km), 'Asserbo Golf Klub' by Frederiksværk, 'Passebækgård' with 9 holes and 'Gilleleje Golfklub' with 18 holes are the closest. Heaterhill The steep slopes and the favourable wind conditions of the area makes 'Heatherhill' an ideal place for paragliders. The wind also creates good conditions for windsurfers The electricity meter is mostly placed outside the house. In recently built houses the electricity meter may be fitted with a grey metal flap. To read the meter lift the flap a little bit and open. Please note that in Denmark almost all electricity meters have no point - so all figures are whole kilowatt hours.
