Approximately 3 km. west of the official acknowledged health resort Steinbach-Hallenberg lies the little village Herges at an altitude of about 700 metres. At the edge of the village, on top of a hill, Haus Marlis is situated. It has a beautiful and well kept garden in which there are a variety of fruit trees, a laying meadow with long chairs, terrace with garden furniture and barbeque. Due to the peaceful location facing south and the marvellous view at the surrounding forests and mountains of the Thüringia Forest you will totally come at ease here.
