Description
Situated on a small mountain ridge called "Haubendelle", a former farm named the "Eifelhaus". The house is on a scenic spot, against a sunny hill. From here, the view on the open countryside is wonderful: when the weather is fair, you can even see as far as Luxemburg. This is really another world, a place of peace, where there is no traffic to disturb the romantic countryside!
The "Wurmerich" with a trout-reservoir, is a stream that starts from the house and flows into the valley. Whilst relaxing on the terrace, you will hear the gentle rustle of the water.
The southern part of the 'Eifel (560 m) offers many activities and possibilities for excursions. For sports-lovers, there are tennis-courts, a heated swimming-pool and a horseback riding centre nearby. Lovely sites are less than an hour away, for instance Trier, the city Luxembourg, Vianden, the waterfalls of Irrel, Bollendorf........ And of course many walking trails, through forests and fields, to satisfy even the biggest outdoor fans.
Have a lovely time in the "Eifelhaus"!
