The picturesque town of Monschau is 18 km away, Aachen is 40 km and Kalterherberg with its Eifel Cathedral is 15 km. These would all make perfect day trips. When there is sufficient snow in winter, there are ski-runs in Rohren (11 km) and in the Belgian Ardennes (40 km). The house owner lives in the same house where the apartment is situated
