Description
The new and stylish apartment Praha (60m2) is located in the city centre of the capital Prague, near the National gallery for modern art, the exhibition centre and the national technical Museum. You will be in a quiet location, at approx. 10-15 minutes' walk from the historical city centre. It is an ideal base for excursions to Prague and surroundings. In the yard there is a free, enclosed parking space.
Prague arose in the 9th century as a citadel along the river Moldau (Vltava) on an intersection of important tradeways. In 973 the town became bischops seat. Already very early, Jews and Germans established themselves as buyers and hand workers in Prague. Under emperor Karel IV, who Prague favours alot, the city was increased considerably. Prague has now 1.21 million inhabitants and has a surface of approx. 500, km2.
The river Moldau streams through the Czech main city. Seven bridges connect the two town halves with each other. The most famous of this is the Karels Bridge. The bridge was built in 1357 by the orders of emperor Karel IV in gothic style. Just in 1683 the leading Baroque statue alley was set up. These statues on both sides of the bridge give it a special radiation. Enjoy your stay in Praque!
