Description

A newly converted house (the old police station in fact) in the wonderfully relaxed village of Russbach, where you will probably know everyone by the end of your holiday. It has great facilities - the fabulous new outdoor pool and unique canoeing pond have added focus to the village summer to complement the gondola lift that runs 3 days weekly, and the old village centre. Masses to see in the area - UNESCO protected lakeside Halstatt, with its macabre ossuary and salt mine is an absolute must. 10 minutes further on is the lift to the Dachstein caves - one full of ice, the other full of stalagmites. Picturesque Lake Gosau, the spa and casino town of Bad Ischl, Lake Wolfgang, Salzburg are all easily accessible. A wonderful area.
