A snug alpine refuge-style chalet in the grounds of a hotel in Kremsmunster. The hotelier is a tennis nut and has built the only 2 grass courts in Austria. One hour tennis per day on the clay courts is free. His bar and restaurant are open for you all year round. Other facilities include a beach volleyball court and a play area. Kremsmunster is famous for the enormous monastery which dominates the small town, as is nearby Steyr, host of the summer music festival. 30 minutes away is Linz, the European Capital City of Culture for 2009, and the same distance to the south west, the Lake District starts at Gmunden on Lake Attersee. The new thermal water park at Bad Hall is also just 7km away.
