Description
Located in a famous "Hôtel particulier" of the quartier Montorgueil, this charming apartment is within short walking from Louvre, Place des Victoires, Centre Beaubourg, Le Marais.
This estimated area of Paris has kept the charme of traditional "Paris Populaire". It's now became an historical and fashionable neighbourhood. But still, you can feel the ancient taste of a busy place next to the "Ventre de Paris"(Emile Zola describes the quartier des Halles which use to be the largest food market of the city).
You are in the center of the transportation network: line 3,4,8 and 9 for the metro; ten minutes walking to line A, B and D of the RER can connect to the two airports, railway stations, Stade de France, EURODISNEY and many cities close to Paris such as Saint Germain en Laye or Nogent sur Marne.
The quiet appartment is on the 5th floor via stairs and is overlooking the rue Dussoubs and a very pretty 17th century court yard. The building was owned by the de Launays,a famous family because of the tragical end of one its member(the marquis Jordan de Launay, governor of the prison la BASTILLE in 1789 has been massacred by the revolutionnaries).
The circulation of daylight (cf:photos) crossing this modest apartment furnished with simplicity gives to the place a very nice "cachet".
It consists of one double bedroom, small bedroom than can sleep two (twin-beds), a double living room in two parts: one for resting(with a couch that ca sleep one), one for dining for up to 6 people, an equiped kitchen(fridge, gaz stove, oven, washing machine, dish washer and a combined bath/shower with lavabo and W.C.
TV, HIFI, telephone for incoming and local calls.
Linen, towels, iron, utilities and 2 hours of housekeeping once a week are included in rental price.
